I was thinking about buying a single Counting House, and then using Sages to seek out the Counting House while discarding Copper.  Of course, this chokes on green rather badly.  Any thoughts?

Could this be a good enabler for Tournament ? Sage also helps to connect Tournaments and Provinces.

Hmm, at first I thought Counting House/Sage would choke on green too much, but the more I think about it, the better the idea seems. You'd probably still need some way to amass Copper quickly (preferably Begger, Hamlet, or Squire, which Sage will pass over), but I think Sage could be a nice enabler.

I don't follow. Usually Counting House conflicts with big card draw.

I actually tried this combo a couple of weeks ago. I won, but not by much, and my opponent played far from optimal. Beggar/Counting House on the other hand...

Well I just tried Sage/Counting House/Beggar against Serf Bot and lost.  Although to be fair, Serf Bot discovered that I was vulnerable to Swindler.  A lot of my Copper turned to Curses :\
