There are 10 boxes. Box 1 is worth 1 point, Box 2 is worth 2 points, and so on up to Box 10, worth 10 points.

There are 10 players. Each player has 10 chits.

To join the game, post here and then send me a PM assigning your 10 chits to the 10 boxes. The value of the box is awarded to the player who put the most chits into the box without tying. (Note: If you don't post here and send a PM, you will not be signed up - I will take the first 10 who do both and submit a valid assignment.)

Whoever gets the most total points wins. Tiebreaker rule: Ties for winner are in favor of the player who put more chits in lower-value boxes.

This was scored a bit differently, it goes to the person with the highest unique bid. (I assume)

I am getting worse and worse! I will say that after you've played a few times it seems like which strategy will win is pretty random.

Awesome. I correctly expected the middle ranges would be largely ignored, and decided to hedge my bets across them.

Ah, I read this as saying ties were just ignored as usual - I didn't notice it was different from the other Tens10n games. Oh well, no matter.

I would have missed this as well. Mith, in the hypothetical of box 7 having chits from 5 players, with the distribution of 4,4,3,3, and 2 chits, does the above-quoted rule mean that the player that placed 2 chits in box 7 would be awarded the 7 points for box 7?

1. Eliminate anyone who tied.

This is a big deal for me because this is sort of a math game, and these boards usually make me feel really math-stupid.
