as a paying customer i would want the ability to toggle this option on and off though. same goes for publicly accesible logs imo.

Just to clarify, you mean you'd want to be able to prevent people from watching you play live? And access logs from your games?

correct. it is not something i care enough about to go out and campaign for but it is something i would like to see. i am ok with anonymizing the logs (or live lookins) for datamining or whatever but i think it's reasonable to be able to want to opt out of having your account tied to publicly viewable data.

When I played competitive Pokemon online, disallowing spectators was a feature, so I fully agree with this.
