Trickster + Orb lets you play your trickster every turn (until you shuffle) without costing any draw or actions (beyond the first play). (encountered in a slog game, dished out 4 curses in a row)

Collection/Populate. It wouldn't have worked with Goons, but the change to on-gain...

Shaman + Cabin Boy is already great. Trash CB to gain a duration and immediately gain it back, while also avoiding the shaman attack. It's even more fun with an on-gain Trait on CB, in my last game, Pious. Play a Cabin Boy to next-turn trash two cards from your hand and gain an extra Cabin Boy. Good cantrip trashing and decent economy once you're done.

Shaman + Transmogrify is a nice combo, since both are start-of-turn, you can Transmogrify a card in your hand and then get the trashed card immediately back

Investment + Loot can be really strong since that can really boost the number of differently-named Treasures

Yeah, Loot in general is good with anything that cares about numbers of different cards--Keep, Fairgrounds, Museum, etc.

Had a Flagship in play. Played a Herald. On its first play, it revealed another Flagship. It was then played a second time due to the first Flagship, but since that second play was an Action card played after the second Flagship, that second Flagship then caused a third play of the same Herald. Thus, Herald played Flagship which then replayed the same Herald

Dude, this ain’t how Command cards work.
Ordinarily a Herald revealing a Flagship wouldn't cause the Herald to be replayed, yes. However, in this case, the Herald was already being played twice, by the Flagship that was already in play. So, the second play of Herald (from the earlier-played Flagship) is what the second Flagship caused to be replayed

So, the sequence was:
(In a previous turn: Play Flagship)
Play Herald
Herald reveals a Flagship and plays it
First Flagship replays Herald
Flagship says "The next time you play a non-Command Action card, replay it.", this is, indeed, the next time a non-Command Action card was played after the second Flagship, and so it replays it

The critical thing here is that the Herald was already being played twice. The revealed Flagship didn't cause a replay of the first play of Herald, but rather of the second play

Stonemason + Experiment + Triumph
Use experiments to draw a bunch (enough to get $10+ and 2 buys), use stonemason to trash a 4 to gain experiment (2 cards gained), then buy a stonemason with overpay 3 (3), gain two experiments (7) and buy triumph for 8 points

Fated village + Crew

Once you have enough village + Crew pairs to draw your deck, get all your Crews in play. You'll then shuffle and you can use Fated to topdeck your villages. All your villages will draw all your Crews, so this basically guarantees drawing your deck. Works with any village that draws a card.

Footpad makes Throned Sorcerer useful, assuming your opponent guesses wrong the first time. The curse they gain causes them to draw the card they revealed the first time, so that there's a different card on top of their deck the second time Sorcerer is played. Of course, this only works if your opponent guesses wrong the first time - if they guess right then they don't get a curse and the card stays on the top of their deck

Had a recent game where Trail was the bonus card for Ferryman. Not often that Ferryman synergizes so well with its bonus card!

Rats + Procession + Way of the Pig

Buy Rats, trashing down and gaining loads more. Procession the Rats, playing it as Way of the Pig twice (unless you still have something to trash). +3 Cards + 2 Actions and gain a $5 card (I think in this game it was Catacombs, which worked well with the village effect).

More generally this is just Rats + any Way being good combined with the fact Rats + any other trasher is good. Well, except for Way of the Rat lol.
