There are 10 boxes. Box 1 is worth 1 point, Box 2 is worth 2 points, and so on up to Box 10, worth 10 points.

There are 10 players. Each player has 10 chits.

To join the game, post here and then send me a PM assigning your 10 chits to the 10 boxes. If you put the most chits in a box, you win that box and its points! If there is a tie for the highest number of chits, no one gets the box. (Note: If you don't post here and send a PM, you will not be signed up - I will take the first 10 who do both and submit a valid assignment.)

Whoever gets the most total points wins. New tiebreaker rule: whoever wins the most boxes wins ties between players finishing with the same number of points. If players are still tied, they rejoice in their shared victory!

i like a tiebreaker rule of "whichever player tied for first won the box with the lowest number wins"

I think it would be somewhat more interesting if you also got the summary of chits bet on the box.

Ie if player a and b bet 2 on box 1 and player c bets 3, then player c gets 8

What would intrigue me, is if you ran a series of say, 3 games with the same 10 people, where in round 1 you start with 10 chits each. In subsequent rounds, your chit count is only equal to the total of chits in boxes you won. Keep scoring the same. In the case of ties, nobody wins and those Chits are discarded. Whoever leads after 3 rounds wins.

And wow. That 10 is really scary, huh? Fascinating. Two games would win it for 6 and 1 respectively. Also, my 5 on 5 was the only bet there as well. Hmm.

cayvie was just doing what would have maxed the points for a hypothetical 11th player last game.
