Lots of 3s in this one, with Ozle and Watno having the same strategy but shifted one box, while Kuildeous and cayvie were also the same but for the placement of their 4.

I was working hard to avoid groupthink, but I fell right into it. I had hoped that people would simply avoid the 10, knowing how contested it'd be. So much for my lessons in psychology. I was correct that 6 was underrepresented compared to 7. I considered putting 4 in there, but I second-guessed  myself.

I suspected the 4 would see little love, and I was right on that. Unfortunately, so was Cayvie. *shakes tiny fist*

I won Box 10 with 4 to spare. I could've won anther box easily with that! Drat!

9 made sense to me there for my bet, since if I bet 10 along with somebody else, we both lost. So my betting 10 instead of 9 could only effectively cause someone else to lose. Given that, all that betting 10 earned me was a win over somebody who bet 9. The chances that I would tie with 9 vs win with 10 seemed rather small, so I hoped to steal a Box with my spare chip.

Of course, I could've said the same thing on a bet of 8 vs a bet of 9, but then I'm winning over 7 other bets, while losing to 3. Given the value of the box, those odds no longer seemed as worthwhile. As noted however, in this game I could've valued box 10 at 6 chits and walked away a winner. But given how undervalued that bet would be, it wasn't worth the risk.

And I, for my part, nearly put 4 chits in box 6 instead of 5, which would have given me the win.  So it goes!
