Ok, so there are the categories, they are the ones I deemed would have the most scope for multiple entries, and without bloating the number of awards too much.

I don't know if that's necessarily true. In a lot of cases, sure, but even though I'm submitting a bunch there will still be things I forgot about. I'm also not nominating in every category.

Are links absolutely necessary with nomination PMs?  Finding those (when it's a link to a particular post as opposed to the game itself) is what's delaying things on my end.  Or can we just link the games in question and let that be sufficient?

I'm mostly not doing links. I actually haven't done any so far, but I did do a quote. I'm not saying it's the best way, but I think most would agree that the nominations are more important than the links!
