How lucky did I get?

In this game I tried to eschew the typical boring luckfest that is Silver-Tournament-Tournament-Tournament-Gold-Province, Hey-I-Win-Fucking-Stupid-Dominion, by using Baron to ramp to a fast King's Court, then back-filling with Tournaments after disrupting with Torturer.  Was my strategy correct, or was did I just end up on the right side of a high-variance play (lol@turn 10kckc)?

I tend to avoid Baron but he worked great for you here.  There is an inherent risk in using him but it paid off about as well as it could with the turn 3/4 Torturer/KC.  So was it lucky?  Yes.  Would it have been possible to do the same with your opponents Silver/Tournament opening?  No.

I guess this proves that in some ways you make your own luck.

You got pretty much maximally lucky. But I think Baron is definitely a better opening than Tournament here even if you're going for a Tournament rush, and once you have that and a Torturer I think KC instead of Gold is a natural buy.
