If you Transmute a Great Hall while you have Watchtower in hand, is it possible to put a Duchy and Gold on top of your deck, with the Duchy on top? My guess is no, because you have to follow Transmute in the order the card is written, so you have to gain Duchy before you gain Gold.

And you might actually want to do this, especially if you have extra actions and an Upgrade in hand.

You have to gain the cards in the order listed on the Transmute. The first card you gain will be under the second card you gain.

How would you receive a duchy from transmuting a Harem? Harem is not an action card, but a Treasure/VP card, so you would gain another Transmute and a gold.

You work your way top down, so you gain a Transmute first, Gold second.
