Same for the Necro I assume?

Necro has no abilities at start.

Does a Wizard who uses his Axe, then chooses to skip the next encounter, lose the Axe debuff?

Yes. The Axe is for the next TURN. The Wizard does not skip his turn he skips the encounter part of that turn.

Say the Zombie, while Dead, plays a turn that heals one of his Wounds (and thus brings him back to life).

1. Can the Necromancer no longer use the Zombie's class power?
2. Can the Avenger no longer "count" the Zombie as a +3 boost for his (the Avenger's) class power?

I hope so, which is pretty awesome.

Also I think I should be wooing my last place position, as it seems to have a slight advantage in the auction. So woo!

And the Zealot with a Dagger has 6 instant-kill tokens (although two come with an inevitable wound). Hmm..

Both the Necromancer and the Avenger can use the Zombie for their abilities on the turn the Zombie heals a wound (probably not relevant). However the next turn they cannot as the Zombie is no longer dead.

Does the Necromancer need to spend a token to use his power, or are his tokens required to use the powers of other dead Hero's?

Can a dead Necromancer use a dead Zombies power?

The dead necromancer has ALL abilities of the dead heroes. So if there is a static ability on a dead character the Necromancer need not spend a token to copy it. He only needs to Spend a token to use an ability that the dead character would need to spend a token on.

And Yes a dead necromancer can use a dead zombies ability.

My father was a wizard, my grandfather was a wizard, and my entire line from the founding of this village consists of wizards. Naturally, my family expected me to be a wizard.

But I never wanted to be a wizard. I wanted to be … a lumberjack! Leaping from tree to tree as they float down the might rivers. The Giant Redwood. The Larch. The Fir. The Carnivorous Gnome-Eating Tree of Azgark! With my best buddy by my side, we'd sing! Sing! Sing!

I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay.
I sleep all night, and I work all day.

Well, you know the rest. Needless to say, I'll be bringing my trusty axe. Now, the life of a lumberjack is raucous, so there was some partying going on. Regardless, I will not let this hangover stop me. We're also huge drinkers, so I'll do this one-handed so I don't spill my lager. Why, you could say it's similar to fighting with one hand behind my back. I am also wearing ladies' panties. I know that's not a disadvantage; I'm just awfully proud of that fact.

After reading the rules and almost starting this game I already want to buy it, but I can't find it listed at my local stores. Is this still super new?
