Just bought this as it was reduced to 69p on ipad

Quite enjoying it so far, but as i get better is it going to be a case of thinking 7 or 8 moves ahead?

I am liking it, but with multiple human players is it a case of games really drag as people spend ages trying to work out thier turns ahead?

What do others think?

There's a knack in Le Havre to making a rough plan but then getting slightly ahead of it, leaving time to take a good opportunity when it is available. If each turn is rigidly dictated by the plan then you tend to get a little stuck. A rough plan can be thought through on your opponents' turns without trying to get every detail right for each action.

The game pace is determined by the players. Fast and slow players make a big difference.

You really don't want someone with analysis paralysis playing this game.

Well, I generally dislike AP in any game, but this game causes all sorts of thought exercises.

I've only played it a few times, but I do enjoy it. I just know that it won't see the light of day all that often, which is why I haven't bothered to buy it. I'll use my friend's copy when the mood strikes.
