YN's card did this: Name a Dominion card. You'll be told which player(s) have that card in their hand. You'll be told 'None' if no one has that card, or that card isn't in the game.

Makes sense.  Our D1 planning probably would have worried scum that doctoring, etc. would get in the way of NKing, and after a no lynch, they really needed someone to die.

If my lynch is a foregone conclusion, I might as well revea that the alchemy card in my hand is Philosopher's Stone and if there are 20 or more cards in the discard I can skip the next night and go straight to the next day after the lynch.

Could you clarify what you mean here? Bolded part is confusing me.

I play the card and then the next day after the lynch, we get the flip and then go into another day, skipping the night entirely. But I can only use it if 20 or more cards have been used. So they're in the discard or trash or whatever the pile where they go is called.

Were you really worried about day 1 random doctoring?  Myself, I'd be more worried about tracking / watching etc., but maybe thats just my experience from the last RMM game.

I'm not even really asking you to keep me alive here; I'm telling you that lynching me is a bad idea but obviously you cannot know that. And I totally realize that this situation makes me look like scum, but it's early enough that we can probably afford a mislynch without it being a big deal. I am baffled about the 3 vs 4 card thing but obviously there must be an explanation within the game.

As for the card itself, it does seem pretty strong but I could also see it being pretty negative utility. Ordinarily there will be a lot more town night actions than scum night actions, but obviously skipping a NK is hugely powerful.

There was some definitely "use protective powers" talk heading into the night.  So I think mafia worried.  I didn't worry about anything, of course, not sure of your pronoun choice there.
