...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Altar ???:o :o :o
One of the funniest Dark ages card...

Cards in part 2 are : Beggar, Catacombs, Death Cart (*o*), Feodum, Forager, Junk Dealer, Market square, Mystic (*.*), Pillage, Rats (*O*), Rebuild, Wandering minstrel

But knights and poor house are in part 3, unfortunately.

Altar is a simple card. The decks it creates can be a bit racier.

Cards in part 2 are : Beggar, Catacombs, Death Cart (*o*), Feodum, Forager, Junk Dealer, Market square, Mystic (*.*), Pillage, Rats (*O*), Rebuild, Wandering minstrel

For those that aren't keeping track, the cards in part 3 are: Counterfeit, Graverobber, Hermit, Hunting Grounds, Knights, Marauder, Poor House, Rogue, Squire, Storeroom, Urchin.

So yes, the later Dark Ages sets are getting the more interesting cards. Part 3 has 4 of the set's 6 Attack cards, along with Squire (which makes sense). It also has both cards that gain from the trash and both cards that become other cards (Hermit and Urchin).

I think another factor that may (or may not) have contributed to part 3 being last: the hardest to implement cards. I would guess that Graverobber, Hermit, Knights, Poor House, Rogue, and Urchin are among the most difficult Dark Ages cards to program.

Along with the update, there has been a vast improvement in speed.  The animations, as well as what they represent, are happening at the same time now, and a lot more quickly.

It's good that the play is faster and bad that you often can't tell what's happening in other people's turns.

I can confirm that the play is faster.

I just played a game with the $5 wishing well type card, and I was angry that it still made me wish when I had no cards left in deck, but otherwise it was fine.

Don't know if this holds with whatevers in prod.

It's still a tiny window even though there's plenty of room for them to put the text log off to the side / above / whatever.  GIVE US THE OPTION PLEASE.

Still defaults to VERY SLOW + Music

Presumably Friday, though nothing is guaranteed I just assume that closing the private means they'll move the cards over.
