We both don't played optimally (especially me), but engines with throne room "as a village" are rarely viable. This one with scheme, steward, wharf, peddler and Oracle was very fun to play.

Ask Marin about viable throne room engines.  I think throne room is his favorite card lol.

He will gladly build a throne room engine with no villages.  He will also open throne room turn 1 buy occasionally.   I usually have a card or two I associate with opponents and Marin is without a doubt Throne Room, fitting for the king ;)
