I for one am highly anticipating all these things. We know the first two options will happen eventually, but the other three we don't know for sure, as of this post. This is obviously a lighthearted post, but I'm hoping also for some serious discussion for if/when these things will take place.

I think that's due to mistranslation. Until 2 minutes ago, I would have called these guys "Affen" which I would have translated to "monkey". I would still call them "Affen", but wikipedia told me that maybe I should not auto-translate Affe->monkey.

We regularly use one word for both monkeys and apes even though we have a word for apes.
It's a pars pro toto if you will. And that word translates to monkeys.

That said, it's really weird to have a word for "monkeys and apes" other than the biological term "simians."  That said, Americans generally can't distinguish among monkeys and apes, and a significant number of Americans believe they're unrelated. [sigh]

And that's what "pars pro toto" means: A part for the whole.
Another example is the sentence: "Torturer isn't a problem if there's no Village."
Here I don't specifically mean the Village from the base set, but basically any card that reliably gives extra actions.

The reverse is a "totum pro parte" where you use the whole for a part.
Example: "Netherlands beat Hungary in the World Cup qualification."
I don't mean that 17 million Dutch people took on 10 million Hungarians.
It just means that a team of 11+ (substitutes) football players with a Dutch passport beat a team of players with the Hungarian nationality.

Aaaah, yeah, if that's the way the words translate, that makes sense then.  (Oddly Google translate doesn't give those translations going from EN to NL, but does give them the other way.  What the hell, Google translate?  We used to be friends.)  And alas, etymology doesn't follow evolution.

Funny that Goko coming out of beta is ranked last. People have even more faith of Guilds coming out sooner even though that isn't schedule until Spring of next year, like a whole 6 months away or so.

I am also thinking October or November. I'm leaning towards November, if for no other reason than that I want it to be released with all the expansions if that is at all possible. They do seem to take their time programming in expansions though.

i'm gonna say october 18-21. that is my guess because that is the dates of the essen (spiel) gaming convention. they tried to time their last release with gencon, so i would guess they would try to use another gaming convention to help publicize their relaunch. it provides them a nice target to work for and it also falls into that oct/nov timeframe a few have suggested.
