Card Idea: (Combos With Scout)

Combos With Scout
$4 - Action-Attack-Looter
Discard any number of Victory cards. +$2 per card discarded. You may discard 1 card. If you do, each other player gains a Ruins.


I just hope this card wouldn't make Scout too overpowered.


(Just so we're clear, this is a serious card idea, but the Scout jokes are not serious.)

The ruins part sorta feels tacked on. Otherwise, its interesting and really good with valuable, low-costing Victory cards, like Tunnel, Gardens, and Silk Road.

It doesn't really Combo with Scout. If this and Scout don't collide, you just eliminated most of the Victory cards you could use with this on your next "Combos with Scout" turn.

This article is just begging for me to comment!

Yeah, the problem is, what if Scout draws all the Victory cards out of the hand where you would have played CWS?

Anyway, drop the Looter part, and this is a nice card. Otherwise it's a bit overpowered, I suspect.

An effect like this is described in the newly released DA Secret Histories.

Haha, nice! I'm glad I posted this before the Secret Histories were released so you know I'm not just copying!

I hadn't realized until right now that you could just have a deck full of green cards + a few of these, giving the opportunity to buy a Province every hand, and at least a Duchy or one of these when they collided. That perspective definitely makes this stronger in some ways.
