That was fun, I had no ships but lots of cards, unfortunately my flares didn't do a ton. Debated about saving my cosmic zap and probably would have if I realized that pacifist was up next, but oh well.

Galz, you skipped on healer for MITE??? Healer would be insane in 8 player, bro. INSANE.

Yeah, I usually play with 4. We get lots of Main Player chances. I just saw the roles and went "I love Mite"... It wasn't until we had started that I realized how silly that was in a game this size.

It was a combination of being greedy and optimistic. I wasn't going to play Morph unless I paired it with the x3 kicker, and that would have meant one less card in my hand for an alien race dependent on hand size.

And with six other people and massive hand sizes, I figured that I could go easy on the resources. Since my power was dependent on hand size, I was leveraging the here and now for a better future for me. We see where that got me.
