Who's going to GenCon?

So who'll be at GenCon?

I'll be there. I mostly do the RPGs, so I probably won't be found observing any Dominion tournaments or some such. Maybe I'll go play in the Rio Grande room.

I figure I'll bring my base cards on the plane and then buy Dark Ages there. Then during any downtime, I can break out a game with my friends. I suspect I'd get a lot of party crashers, and I may have to politely tell them that I'm leaving in 15 minutes and taking the game with me.

But hey, if anyone plays in Heroes of Rokugan, I'll probably see you there. I'm also doing a demo of Rotted Capes and helping AEG run their introduction to Second City (not the comedy troupe).

And of course, I'm always eager to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory again. It was a crime against Kansas City that it closed here.

I'll be there working. Last year our booth was right near the Rio Grande Booth; it was fun to see the crowds for Dark Ages.

Cool, hope to meet all of you.

Anyone thinking of doing a True Dungeon Adventure? My friend and I are going to try the first event, (Lycans, puzzle oriented).  If any of you are interested I'll let you know what time we're doing it and we can party up!

True Dungeon is a lot of fun, but that gets expensive! We haven't done it the past couple of years. It's unlikely we'll do it again this year, though a f.ds group could be fun. Those puzzles wouldn't stand a chance!

I'm sure my wife and I could be persuaded to play some Dominion. Not sure if she'll be up for it, since she's not on the forums and doesn't have the same rapport with you people as I do.

But it'll have to be someone else's game. We fly out there, and our suitcase is already pushing the 50-pound limit. And I have to leave space for the newest Dominion expansion whatever games we decide to bring home.

I stopped by on Sunday, but you were already gone, as was the demo for the board game. I had a sad.

My schedule was just way too busy this weekend to do much in the dealer hall. I'll keep an eye out for the board game, though. Perhaps another year we can meet.

Sorry, I was there Sunday morning, but I had to catch my flight early in the afternoon to get back home in time to sleep and then go to work today. :(

So, GenCon 2015?

I'll be there again, peddling Sentinel Tactics -- World Championship last chance qualifiers are Thursday, and the Championship itself is Saturday/Sunday. I'll be commentating on Twitch for at least part of that, which is exciting!
