Well, at the very least, the final scrying pool split was 7/3. SP was a pretty dominant card this game, and you didn't end up getting enough of them for a solid engine. Could be because of the opening split.

The haggler is probably the wrong start here. If you get a haggler too early it gives you extra low cost cards you don't actually want. You then probably want spice merchant instead of the early masquerade since they both draw two/trash one but the spice merchant gives the plus action and your opponent's masquerade will eventually pass over copper for estates.

I think this is a good example of when you should think about keeping a bad card.
