Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno."
Not the best beer in the world, no. But it's flavor does stand up well to - well, to the flavor. Brewed by Port Brewing Co., Inferno Ale runs in The Lost Abbey family. It's a rich golden Belgium with a head that almost reminds me of whipped egg whites. Very frothy, into what almost forms stiff peaks. At 9.0%, it does pack a little bit of a punch, but it's very smooth, and very enjoyable - even after three bottles of Ruination to shock the palate.
