Private Message emails marked as spam

This is not a problem that requires a solution, but I was a little curious about it.

For some reason, of the emails I get alerting me to a new PM from this form, some but not all (maybe 2/3) get dumped in my gmail spam filter, but the others go to my inbox seemingly at random. Has anyone else had this experience?

I've had a slightly different problem; they go into my inbox but I get warned that they're possibly phishing emails and that the email might not actually have came from dominionstrategy (gmail).

That makes sense, but I still don't understand why some do and some don't. They all come from the same place.

This was the case for me until I told it to trust the sender. Was never sure why though.

Also because they are forged to look like they are from a gmail account, when they aren't.

It would be nice if you could tell your mail server, "no, these smelly looking things, I actually like them".

It would also be nice if I just learned or cared enough about running a mail server so that I could set something up less janky.

But you know, maybe a solution is for you guys to just email each other directly?

I did tell it to like them, and now the server and I are friends.

like I said, a solution is not required.  I check the forum directly enough that I really don't need to be emailed to know I have a PM.

So I'm not recieving any messages from this forum anymore when I get PMs and I didnt change my settings, has this setting become broken? (They arent going to my junk folder either)

It's very possible this broke when I migrated servers 2 days ago.

Unfortunately, I really have to worry about packing and making sure day 3 of the tournament isn't as poorly done as day 2, so I might not be able to investigate/fix this for a couple days.

No worries just getting it out there since I haven't seen anything about it and since running mafia games means getting tons of pms it's easy for me to notice it break

Incidentally we had some problems with people who had forgotten their passwords and for whom the "Forgot My Password" email wasn't working.  That should also be fixed.
