I love Apothecary, it can be so useful to get early high value cards.

On the other hand, end game Apothecaries can give you nice hands with 5 VP cards.

No such thing with NV and Amb though.

Not when you have courtyard nv to play. Look at the log of the last couple of turns. I consistently put a green into my nv. It was practically the only reason I bought it, and only one.
