Taking Copper with Haggler - Possible Bug?

I had a weird situation earlier I have never encountered before.  I was involved in a complete Clusterfuck game involving Gardens, Familiar, Vineyard, Native Village, Haggler and a bunch of other crap.  Towards the end of the game I am trying to 3-pile for the win, while simultaneously feeding my Gardens and Vineyards.  I am dealt a hand of Haggler, plus four dead cards (some combination of green and curses I can't remember).  I play the Haggler and buy the penultimate Native Village for $2, but was then not given the option to use Haggler's ability.  Curses were all out, but I should have been given the option to gain a Copper shouldn't I?

When there isn't any choice, isotropic usually automates actions. If Curses were out, you had no choice but to gain Copper. Iso probably gave you the Copper automatically, without you having to click.

There is no option, gaining a Copper is mandatory under the circumstances. Check the log to make sure you weren't automatically given the Copper.

Here is a solo game I just played with Haggler, running out the Curses and then buying a Chapel with Haggler. As you can see, I do gain a Copper, but there is no choice involved.

As an interesting related note, normally when your card is Saboteur'd, the cards you can choose to replace it are available to click, as well as a "none" link. However, when Copper is the only option to choose (Curses are gone and the trashed card cost $3, etc), then instead of having Copper clickable and a "none" link, Iso asks "do you want to gain a Copper to replace it?" with Yes and No links.

I would assume it works that way anytime there's only one option. Like if coppers and curses were gone, and Estate were the only $2 card, etc.

I would assume it works that way anytime there's only one option.

But not, it seems, if you are asked to choose X cards from X when they are not all the same.

Also, if you're holding e.g. Copper x 4 - Estate and get hit by Militia, it can't simplify the prompt to "Discard the Estate with a Copper, or two Coppers?".

There are probably even more cases we aren't thinking of.
