I put a lot of work into my scum games, too. But it usually results in me winning. I put 10X the effort into Day 3 of Mafia XXIV, and still ended up so, so wrong. Really that game scarred me.

my stat keeping certainly helps keeps things straight... speaking of which, haven't updated in a while... maybe I'll do that now during this mini-lull...

So I guess the only games I cant keep straight are XX and XXI. That was... that newbie-ish one, where mcmc and lio were scum... and then the double scum teams one that Jimm hosted. Whereas other roles--yes watcher is pretty weak--require much more skill in analyzing wifom, interactions, etc... And I think you give tracker a bad rap. It is actually a really good role. Because like cop you are guarnateed information: targeted someone, didn't target someone, but isn't as crushing as a cop investigation... it is especially more useful when mafia teams have other roles (rolecops, etc).

Agree with this statement especially.  I was a Tracker in Mean Girls and caught scum twice!

wow. Town has won precisely 1 normal game in the time I've been playing here. Before that it seems to have been mostly even though.

It's not even SO much the losing streak aspect. I was fine with losing XX and XXIII, other people played better. But man, I REALLY tried in XXIV and XXV.

With the exception of the epic sum fail that was my losing team in Mafia XXIII, scum just win every game now, though.

I would have absolutely no idea which numbers went with which game. Maybe if we weren't using Roman Numerals I'd be okay, but it's normally too much effort to translate what that bunch of Xs, Vs and Is actually means.

No, see, "Mafia" the game, is a title, thus receives a capital letter. Whereas the faction "mafia" is informal, and would not be capitalized (sometimes it is, but it's not required). As you did not capitalize your 'm', it is clear you are speaking of a desire to be scum. And the only people who really say such things ARE scum. Nobody, as town, every REALLY goes "Aww, I wish I was with the evil guys". It's a scumslip akin to opening the day with "Well that sucked". Town knows somebody will die at night, thus when someone shows up dead there's no real feeling of surprise. But scum like to appear sympathetic towards town's plight, thus the fake sadness.

In any case, your scumslip here is obvious, and I think everybody else should join me in a Vote: Fuzzy
