I was 1st player but at a disadvantage as I opened 4/3 vs 5/2 on a Governor/embargo board

I grabbed a Black Market + silver, and started to race for Governor's although I was already behind.

Knowing he had the upper hand in the province race he embargoed the Platinum. 

On turn 11 my opponent grabbed two Provinces and I knew I was in trouble. 

We then trade province buys until there is only one left and he's ahead but my deck has the best chance of buying it.  So he embargoes the last province and starts snapping up duchies

I manage to find a Monument and an Island from the Black Market, and on my last turn down 8 points I remodel a gold for the last province, a silver for the last duchy, play my Monument, and buy an estate to win by 1.

That's what I call a buzzer beater.
