Thought you guys might enjoy this game from Isodom tourney week 5: http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201204/21/game-20120421-120536-294acdb7.html

Colony game where I stumbled into a golden deck consisting of KC KC mine bishop silver netting 7 pts a turn and 6 pts a turn when the platinums were gone. First game ever for me where platinums and golds were depleted.

Not related to the log, but is it just me or is this a rare colorless log? It really threw me for a loop when scanning the game...

It's colored now. I had the same problem yesterday with other logs, so it may have been an isotropic problem.

I don't think I have seen "Banks, Platinums, and Golds are all gone." before.

Extremely interesting combo.
I think the decision of the trashing up with KC/Mine is of particularly cool here. If you would have hit the combo slightly earlier trashing plat->plat might have been better since it runs out the pile quicker and denies the opponent platinums. Also going silver->gold->gold->plat will make the game go faster but have less potential for points than silver->silver->gold->plat. Also just buying a copper and going copper->silver->gold late game is more points since there is more silvers to crunch down.

So even with the combo, choosing the mining order can probably impact how the endgame plays out.
