Party House (UFO 50)

Has anyone played UFO 50?  It's a recent collection of 50 video games that, in-universe, were developed in the 1980s for a fictional console.  Some of the games contain anachronistic ideas.  One of them is a deck builder.

Party House is a game about throwing a party every night.  You fill up your party by randomly adding guests from your rolodex.  Then you spend popularity to add more guests to your rolodex, and spend money to add more space to your house.  Some guests cause trouble, and if you have too many of them in your house at once, the police will shut the party down.  The goal is to throw a party with four expensive "star" guests within a turn limit.

The game retains my favorite aspects of Dominion: variable setup, fixed supply piles, and a build-up-cash-out structure.  But the theming and basic currency types are completely different.  It also has a push-your-luck aspect, which I think is similar to Mystic Vale (though I've never played).  So far, it's my favorite game in the collection.
