Honestly, one of these has got to be a scumwagon and the other a townwagon.

I'm feeling very confident that towncore Cuzz/EFHW/shraeye needs to figure this out. I think the right call is to vote: mcmc.  I think that whether its joth/Awaclus or Didds/Robz, mcmc is the third.

For sure he was going to like my answer.  It also answers your question/accusation; what has shraeye ever done off the cuff.  Made a theory, moved on that theory; immediately questioned that theory, unmoved.

Shraeye on the other hand is almost always posting a string of posts on his own, addressed to himself or to no one in particular, usually at night (US time) when few others are around. This let him give his takes in a vacuum without having to directly have much real back and forth with anyone else in the game, and it allowed him to carefully consider the precise structure of his cases and arguments before posting. Go back and try to find any instance of shraeye saying anything seemingly off the cuff or remotely casual. Even all the way up to his vote on me, where after a reread and a handful of posts he’s apparently 100% certain I’m scum just based on voting behavior, certain enough to gamble the whole game on, and he doesn’t even wait for any reaction from either of us to make his move.

This is not a great case; it's just how I play.  I take pauses and reflect; come back and give my reactions on what's going on.  It's also easy to disprove that I'm only talking in a vaccuum; Swowl and I had a super casual conversation on some day,

Robz looked like he was avoiding a didds exile at all costs until the very very end.  Does not look good.

Didds pivot to mcmc, mcmcs instrumental position in Didds exile. But sure, it's buddying. Great analysis.

I'm saying I believe that cuzz would have voted Didds. As stated, I'm not giving either cuzz nor Robz a ton of credit for that exile.  I'm not backing down from my thoughts, it's my honest take whether you like it or not.

You’re not town and you know for a fact that I know for a fact that you’re not town. I don’t think you can objectively assess which aspects of your play others are or are not allowed to read into.

Oh I don’t think there was anything you should have done differently I genuinely think that might only be my like second endgame ever as town. I do not generally make it there as I think I am typically pushy enough with my reads I’m either miss exhiled or nk’d early.

Honestly the joth sub out was rough because I was really hoping to bounce idea of him as a player I was certain couldn’t be didds parter.

Shraeye just happened to buss didds at the right moment. Obviously in retrospect I feel like duh you were the much townier player I just didn’t give myself the time to come around. Didds also really tried to push a joth exhile and tried to get us to consolidate on day 2 when the possible wagons were you and joth. So it felt to me like why would didds stick their neck out to get an exhile through when none of her, robz, or shraeye were in any danger

I definitely based too much of my decision off how didds played rather than how you and shraeye played but I just hadn’t had a great read on either of you and felt like I sorta unlocked things once I picked up on didds being scum so that was where I put all my research

Everyone who plays the base game gets somewhat disappointed when they draw a dumb 'ol road tile. This is because roads are worth the least out of all four ways to score, and always feel like a lame excuse for a tile. The Inns and Cathedrals expansion helps this a lot by adding inns, which can double the value of roads.

I did have it pegged as shraeye in the end, yeah. Though it's always easier from the speccy, and I was suspecting Cuzz on and off throughout the game. So I can't promise I would have been any better than mcmc in the endgame. I might have convinced myself that claiming restless spirit after not playing to get exiled was scummy.

Hey man, don't feel bad. I have been exactly where you are a lot of times and I know just how you feel, but it's not your fault! You did great to get as far as you did. scum played a heck of a game, especially shraeye (read the scum QT and you'll see he pegged Galz as a PR from virtually nothing). That endgame thing though, it is so much pressure.

That was definitely a factor. I despise breadcrumbing, I’ve never been a part of a scum team that didn’t discuss fake claims immediately and crumbs are the easiest thing to take in the world.

It’s another of those things that just because scum can do it doesn’t mean it is scummy to do it but I definitely thought “oh of course you breadcrumbed”.

Yea shraeye was really really smart to just drive by his vote and leave. In retrospect I needed more active back and forth, my isolated rereading just had me running in circles.
