I tried a gambit, and failed. I had made up the part of my RP recycling (and it almost bit me, when it was suggested that was overpowered).

My hope was that I would be the NK last night in order to save any actual PR. Of course, then the NK was VT swowl, so we did get the result I wanted (assuming one of Didds / Jimmmm is town).

Never lie as town. Seriously.

What's the reasoning to not? I know it can be risky - i.e. getting caught in it, but other than that.

Now this is not the case - I have not acted like caught in a lie. I also do not "keep" lying. This was the one (I get it why would you beleive me, but that'd be the case with anything we say in this game unless we're confirmed IC).

Can you make more clear what exactly happened?

If it wasn't clear, my RP was jost the three one shots. I used them all as previously claimed, so for last might was effectively a VT. Hoping to get scum to NK me (thinking I still had useful powers) when I had just become a VT.

Why did you think it was better if you were dead today compared to one of them?

Investigative roles just don't seem all that helpful at exlo. Any result could be a framing. I wanted to know why you thought that was worth keeping up a lie over.

But also, it's still more info (whether true or not) than a VT gives us. And it was only for one day yesterday, I didn't actually see there being much harm, and I thought I'd be dead at this point.

So case 1: didds telling truth, Jimmmm scum.
Case 2: diddis lying, didds scum.
Case 3: scum has some other power, redirect, blah, blah, blah. Seems unlikely at this point, due to cuzz's role.

I'm assuming 2 more scum, that they are both mafia goons, and not PRs. (of course if for some reason only 1 scum, then definitely a goon).

From my POV, cuzz only voted town n D1,D2,D3. Does that make it more likely that cuzz voted town!EFHW? Or would this have been cuzz's first bussing?

I'm also trying to figure out if cuzz opining so much about there being 1 bomb was truthful or if there are 2 bombs.

My thinking was that one or both Scola or Jimmmm would be a baddie. After the way the vote went down, jimmm was my best guess. I also thought after the cuzz vote, Jimmm wasn’t looking good.   So, my thought was that if his partner was the other was one of the bombs, they’d have him do the action since he probably wasn’t going to pull off escaping suspicion today anyway. If his partner was Scola, then i think they’d have had a similar discussion about who should do it. Which is why I don’t think my result surprised anyone. Because I either got him or I was going to have been blocked.

a) revealing the lie at that point seemed more risky.
b) I truly thought I'd be dead by now

I'll admit this is a good point. Sinced I'm lazy, can you point me to some of those posts?

I hadn’t thought that fully through. But I figured there was a low probability I’d Liebe alive today. To me mind, it was me or Swowl

That is what I have not figured out. Once upon a time, I'd have said Efang. But Swowl seemed to think her bomb claim was legit. If there are two bombs, then the other two baddies are scola and jimm, I think maybe that is balance? 2 bombs, tracker, and doctor? I doubt that there will be any evidence to implicate any of you, Efhw, and Scola are all pro at being scum, so it will all be the feels. Which is all kinds of uncomfortable. I thought that would be the point of today. Otherwise, I'd vote for Jimmm and peace out for the weekend.
