Let's Discuss - Archer

Wolphmaniac:
1. Which card do you hide?

2. Did any actual archers out there notice that the archer on the card...
A. Has the arrow knocked on the wrong side of the bow?
B. Is holding the arrow with their thumb(?!) instead of between their first two fingers
C. The bow has no table at all.  The arrow is just floating in space.

It's a pretty uninformed drawing of an archer.  Compare to Noble Brigand, who also has the arrow on the wrong side of the bow lol but at least they're using a finger-table to balance the arrow in place, and they appear to be gripping the arrow in a manner that would actually succeed.

LibraryAdventurer:
Also, in both pictures, the archer is holding the bow left-handed. I've heard left-handed bows are pretty rare.

Gherald:
It's simple, both are actually right-handed bows being used by confused lefties :D

Titandrake:
As for what card to hide,

* If you have a duplicate you should hide neither of them because you can't stop a discard anyways.
* You should just assume your opponent can see your hand and not try to play mindgames or bluffing games. Maybe there is a small edge case where it matters, but information in Dominion is really cheap / lasts 1 turn. So just assume you'll be left with the worst 4 card hand possible given what you pick and find the least bad option.

That's far from clear.  For example, if you have two villages, two smithies and a copper, the only way you can limit your opponent's options is by hiding the copper.  But it seems clearly more valuable to choose based on what information you'd like to hide.
