I’m super wary of LL now because that hammer seemed to me to come out of nowhere.

well, there was a "deadline is in 5 hours" post, then a lot of hours passed, I came into the game and saw that there's still a no-exile situation, so i hammered.

You mean this "deadline is in 5 hours" post, which wasn't a statement, but a question. Then it was clearly answered?

I believe "FT" (forum time) is EST, IIRC.  So 8:35pm is about 10 hours from now.

Right now, I'd be happy to vote MiX, EFHW, or Awaclus.  I'd prefer my vote to stay where it is, but will switch to either of the others to get an exile.  (I'll likely be unavailable for the 2 hours before and including deadline - so my final vote will likely be cast around 6:30pm).

It's not like there were 4 pages of new posts for you to read either. So do you want to still stick with your excuse? Or do you want to admit you didn't read people's posts? Or do you want to admit you want to post the standard "intent to hammer" post first? Was it just in your best interest to end the day and the discussion?

I've seen the "5 hours" post, came back in a long time, didn't read thorougly because thought that I don't have a lot of time and hammered. I don't know what to tell you, this is what happened.

No, it's just that the case I made against an EFHW/you team was a good case and a lot of it still applies to you with someone else being the SM, and now that it's just a vanilla game, there's no benefit to trying to get your partner exiled before you. Unless you have any convincing arguments why you aren't scum instead of just throwing accusations at everyone who votes for you.

I’m going to hold off on voting because I’d actually like to have a full day, but none of my sense of things has changed from yesterday. And it looks like Awaclus is in that same boat, too.

Today is my long day so I’ll be scarce.

But in a game with only vanilla roles, I don't think it really matters which of us scum target from a "who's left" perspective, while evaluating the NK as a reaction to that discussion could be.

No, it would have strictly benefited scum. If scum didn't think the info was more valuable to them than the info from evaluating their reaction is to us, they would simply ignore the info. The only way it makes any difference is if scum thinks it benefits them, in which case it almost certainly does, and because this is a zero-sum game, it means it hurts us.

What does this mean? How is no exile not skipping immediately? How is there a process between voting no exile and skipping the day quickly?

Voting No exile just means not exiling someone that day - it doesn't have to happen immediately, we could've still discussed things for a few more real world days. As you see from above, Awaclus thinks that only helps scum; I think in a vanilla game like we are now, it could've helped town as well.
