Damn. I've got to admit to my mistake here: this defense from EFHW was weird, I realized it was weird, and instead of thinking through the reasons why that might have been like I should have, I just kept pushing the case in hopes of getting more info out of it and getting more clarity to the situation that way. But I guess at least the situation is pretty clear now!

I believe "FT" (forum time) is EST, IIRC.  So 8:35pm is about 10 hours from now.

Right now, I'd be happy to vote MiX, EFHW, or Awaclus.  I'd prefer my vote to stay where it is, but will switch to either of the others to get an exile.  (I'll likely be unavailable for the 2 hours before and including deadline - so my final vote will likely be cast around 6:30pm).

It's not like there were 4 pages of new posts for you to read either. So do you want to still stick with your excuse? Or do you want to admit you didn't read people's posts? Or do you want to admit you want to post the standard "intent to hammer" post first? Was it just in your best interest to end the day and the discussion?

To Awaclus asking about the deadline, and then being answered (that mathdude just explained, thanks dude!) and then what was, in fact, a quick hammer.

I still think gkrieg is the scummiest (telling people to just vote already), but this really is a full seven hours early, and completely out of the blue.
