My working:
fang's black sum was 4. Given that I had B1, he had to have B4.
His centre sum was 8. There was no way to make 8 with 3 whites all higher or all lower than 4, so B4 had to be in the centre 3, meaning the other two had to be W0 + W4 or W1 + W3.
Given that his B was 0 or 1 and B1 was impossible, his A had to be 0, therefore his E had to be W6 to make the difference of 6.
So we have B0 W0 B4 W4 W6 or X0 W1 W3 B4 W6.
EFWH's black sum was 15. With the remaining blacks, that could only be B6 + B9 or B7 + B8 (ignoring B0). At least the leftmost of these had to be adjacent to a consecutive, and no 5s or 7s were available, therefore we must have B7 + B8 as C + D. E was not consecutive or black, so must be W8. A + B had to be consecutive and add to 3 to make the sum of 26 so we have W1 W2 B7 B8 W8.
We now know which one of the two options for fang is correct.
