Good game everyone. Well played. Sorry I screwed it all up, that’ll teach me to re-read and think for myself.

Can't believe my D1 reads were all right. That's so wrong! Why did I decide to kill myself!?

Joth, it's okay, I also thought faust was scum in the end.

Wow, how the heck did we manage that??

Great job fang and Didds! Amazing!

(Sorry for what i think was still a mistake on day 3; I in retrospect i see it, but I'll explain more later, when I'm at a computer and not a phone)

Also, we ran into an issue with Chatzy (first noticed in Scum chat)...

Without a premium account, you can only "look back" at so many messages.  The full chat is not available.  They talked so much, I actually had to ask for them to re-post night actions on N1, since they had posted them and then it disappeared from view before the end of the night.

So, I'm going to say Chatzy is probably not the solution to our QT problem.

I'm going to leave the scum and speccy rooms as-is for a bit.  But as the admin in those rooms, I'm able to delete messages.  I'm wondering if, when I delete recent messages, I will be able to view older messages.  Then I may just need to post the full room chats into the thread here.

The biggest reason, to my mind, that fang was scum -

His claim didn’t make sense.

N1 Scum had to have investigated Gkrieg. It’s the only reasonable explanation for killing him N2 (instead of IC-Double Voter Dylan). And on N2, if scum were making the choice to kill Gkrieg over Dylan, there’s no world where they would’ve picked a random person (fang) to block instead of Dylan.

Beyond that though - Faust’s points were right on at the end of the day. Scum were 1 Exile from winning. A) Scum!faust doesn’t go for crazy schemes unless he needs to (playing from behind). B) Scum!faust isn’t sloppy. He would’ve known what was coming D3 and planned for it. He’s not getting “caught unawares” there. C) Fang claimed first, Scola claimed second - there were much easier misexile targets for Scum to set up a 1v1 with (if they wanted - that wasn’t even required) at that point. There was no reason to make it Scola vs Fang. That’s not a setup scum!faust would’ve presented in the Scum QT N3.

gg

glad I was right about fang and Didds originally and that I was able to be convinced about scola lol. Good voice killing me the last night because I still thought there was a decent chance fang v scola was a fake 1v1 based solely on my knowledge of past scola games.

Yes, I did.  It goes back further than the visible page.  But still only goes back so far.  When I try to click the "Earlier Posts", it gives this message:

In fairness, Joth, I told fang that you were his target audience last night so everything he was doing was designed to appeal to you. That kind of single-focused persuasion is powerful. Faust getting cranky about it just made it even more effective.

Fang, you were great! MVP, for sure.

And again, my apologies for the VLA x2. I didn’t realize when I signed up this that would play out, but it wasn’t awesome to be so absent.

Gkrieg hasn’t copped, just a good guess. We copped Swowl the night he hit killed.

A very good guess! However, from every non-scum players perspective, the “correct read” should’ve  been that you had copped Gkrieg. Likewise, even though you didn’t actually end up blocking Dylan N2, it really should’ve been the basis for why fang’s claim didn’t make sense.

We were pretty much a textbook definition of bumbling scum! We didn’t talk through some things we probably should have and fang and Scola see the game really differently so nothing felt like it made sense to me, but I was always distracted by life this past few weeks so I’m just lucky they were able to carry the weight

Oh no worries it's all good  :D I take consolation in the fact that I was right (except about the 1v1; I bow my head to EFHW on that one).
