Now that I have sacrificed myself to the mayor gods...

...can we take a look at when fang said I was scum? He does not know I'm scum. That part of his post made no sense. His entire case is around me doing a play that is supposed to help scum. This is not nearly enough to simply say I'm scum.

It's the post right before I vote him.
You say "X is scum" all the time...

I am not fang! Fang is not me! What I do as town is independent of what he does as town!

Can you provide evidence that fang does not use hyperbole?

That's not possible. Besides, this is my first game with him. My impression with his post style is that he's not someone that would do it. It was very jarring in his post to see an absolute like that. I don't think it matches the rest of his play, this game at least.

Well, time to make a legacy. I will split this into multiple posts because I don't know when math gets here.

EFHW is town. Evidence:

I reread fang. His early posts are pretty fluffy, but then later he does seem to be doing scumhunting. I feel less confident about my vote, but this being D1 close to deadline, I'll stay there until find something better.

Absolutely zero reason to say this if she's scum. It's also pretty townie.

Huh? I mean I've definitelyt seen scum want to hedge on their vote so when person does flip town, they can say "but see, I wasn't sure of it". I mean that was one of Awaclus' main arguments against me in BSG S1 (when I was scum).

I think it could be townie too, but in no way is this "zero reason" as scum.

5 hours now.
Joseph, if you want people to vote freely then I think you (and Dylan) need to be not voting.

I think lots of people should vote for MiX, because he is scum, but as it stands they can't because of fearing they'll mess up a test.
Hold out for Dylan to come and run the test if you prefer, but I have a feeling it is stopping people voting where they want to.

I think this is the post you are referring to. And yeah Fang, what made you switch from giving MiX town cred for not going after WCD when they could to "they are skum"?
I wasn't giving MiX town cred for not going after WCD. The opposite in fact. He said faust had convinced him about Didds being scum but wouldn't vote there because of the mayor situation. Fair enough. Then Dylan unvoted. That was the time at which MiX could have joined the wagon. But he didn't. And he was around, made other posts during that time.

Also, I think your recent vote count looks about right, in which case there is a good chance the day is still going on. Let's not let MiX trick us into no-exiling.

PPE 1

I don't consider Dylan's vote, because he's a mayor. At the time there were...what, 2 non-mayor votes on Didds? 3? I wanted 2 non-mayor votes and 2 mayor votes on someone.

Also, I'm sorta townreading Didds now but eeeeeeh.
Not voting for Didds because of town reading her is absolutely fine.
Not voting for Didds because she wasn't on the exact right number of votes for your plan is very questionable.

Here is where you got "convinced" by faust:
This is the point

And you'd rather vote for a lurker than for someone on a "probably scum-driven" wagon?

Didds is much more of a lurker than EFHW...
And I have never said otherwise. However, unlike EFHW, she is also scum.

Hmm, okay. Consider me convinced, but I can't vote for Didds as that might be hammer.
Then Dylan unvoted. That meant you could vote there without any danger of hammer.

I mean, I assumed the fact you didn't was because you had become "unconvinced" again. Or maybe never were convinced. But now you say that a big part of it was just that there weren't the exact right number of votes on her.

You've been taking this voting plan thing much too seriously, a script of exactly how things have to happen.

PPE: at least 9

Yes, I've been meaning to follow the mayor plan ever since it was first mentioned.

I'm beginning to think this was a  terrible plan. Or at least that doing this way before deadline needed to be a part of the plan.

Read fang's post: he did not once call me scum, or scummy, or what have you. Just "questionable" things. Is this the kind of person to say someone is scum out of the blue? No. They are not.

Ok I'm like 98% sure we had a hammer, so I'll take off.

NK Didds, you won't regret it.

You could've voted fang instead.

Welp, either the day is done or we have two drunks (or 1 drunk and 1 scum)?

A legit vote count would be nice right about now...

Well there's no reason to reread as scum. At least if you assume I'm town.

Cause scum would never a) claim to reread or b) actually reread, in order to make an argument.

If Mix ends up being scum, I'm, thinking EFHW for tomorrow.

Correct

Unrelated, I reread joth, and I think he's town. It just kinda feels like last game? But I also just don't see any scummyness. Simple joth opinions.

Yes, please think EFHW is my alignment.

There's no reason to make that argument at that time. I also think, as much as I disagree with calling fang's posts "scumhunting", that it's a valid way of looking at them. So that hints to a real reread.

NK Didds, you won't regret it.

Are you directing the scum NK here?!?

Once you're trapped in your own delusions, you'll see evidence supporting it everywhere.

No. If I was directing the scum NK, I would say to kill Dylan. He's obviously town, unless he's scum. So, the best NK target.

Reread scola, wow does he defend Didds a lot. Put them partnered if one flips scum. But otherwise townie. So, null, I guess.

I just wholeheartedly disagree with the premise that there's no reason to reread as scum and that they would never actually do it. I've reread as scum in pretty much every scum game I've played. You don't win (as often at least) as scum without looking like you are actually scumhunting. You can't look like you're scumhunting without actually looking back and finding things that people have said that look scummy.

I guess I'm agreeing with scola here, because I think I missed the heavily implied sarcasm until after I was done typing that first paragraph lol.
