Joseph put an extra 'r' in my name, and I put an extra 'r' in yours. It is not the most hilarious thing ever.

What's so scummy about my first post? Instead of engaging in RVS (which I don't enjoy), I assert a silly reason to be Mix's RVS vote. I do get if you think my arguments for not claiming are anti-town, that could be seen as scummy, but I tend to think it's more inexperience in playing. (though as you point out, more experiences players were also against it, so 🤷‍♂️? But regardless, your vote came before I made that argument.

I do think there's likely scum in MiX, faust, and fang, in getting me up to 3 votes (when 4 can be effective L-1) so quickly. My first take is Mix was RVS, faust was applying pressure, and fang is the most suspect. But I'll read on.

Chances of Joseph being scum are basically zero. Claiming to be a trigger IC when there's enough time left in the day to trigger said IC is a death sentence for scum. For their plan to work, there would need to have a mayor/drunk in the game, and then at best you get a 1v1.

The downside would still be in specifically knowing if Joseph is a Mayor or Drunk. That knowledge is still useful for scum. Surprised you wouldn't see this.

You're right. I got confused because later you said:

Regarding Mayor/Drunk claim thing - I think we should just let it resolve itself.

The downside to this is obviously that it tells skum who either has an extra vote or who has no vote, giving them targets or targets to aim away from.

Because of his first post in the game:

I read this as a potential mayor breadcrumb.
Joseph pointed out that mayor is only a possible role, and faust pointed out that even X/2 could be hammer, but MiX's precise "L-1" suggests he knows there is a mayor.
It is a post that he could, if he finds it convenient later in the game, refer to as a breadcrumb. And I trust in scum-Mix's ability to lay such a breadcrumb just as much as mayor-MiX.

I think it is reasonable to explore this, now that he doesn't see any downsides to the mayor claiming plan.
