Why would you defend fang day 3? That’s the crux of your defense. Well, your partner had just decided to 1v1 him. Sure your team could go all in to throw your weight behind him winning the 1v1. And you could lose anyway, especially with a mayor still in the mix adding an extra vote to the equation and playing his cards somewhat close to the vest (by the way I would love for you to support your assertion that Dylan was “basically set on” fang).

So what happens today if your whole team goes in on the wrong side of the 1v1 and still loses? Game over. So you hedge your bets with the full-throated defense of fang hoping to ride the towncred to victory.

It’s actually the smarter play.

Going back to this... none of your arguments hold any water.

- if scum wins a 1v1 that's a win. It doesn't matter one bit that there's still a Mayor especially since said Mayor can be safely killed.
- I have shown how Dylan was reacting; that was before I ever said anything about the matter.
- it's not game over if scum looks bad in the 1v1. It is however game over if there's a Cop result that annihilates any towncred, so why risk that? Also if you say the reason I went against scola is so that the whole team wasn't on the same side then you'd have to demonstrate that my scumpartner was pushing for fang... but noone else was pushing for fang except you and Dylan.
- there was no need for me to do either/or. I could have just come out undecided, which in all likelihood would have led to fang's death.

I guess Didds is VLA so it might be a while before we have confirmation either way. Not sure what to do with that time. Yell at joth some more? Didn't yield much of use so far. But it did give me peace of mind.

Well I suppose I should work under the assumption that joth is scum and decided this is the time to take a stand. It would explain why joth was so very receptive to my arguments on D3 and not at all today.

It's weird that at no point that team went and exiled Didds. That sure seems like the easiest misexile here. Dylan wanted it, it was within reach on D3 even. I can only guess that they were worried that it's a trap?

The rats - how they marveled.  Their disguises, so merry!  Their ploys and their plots and their plans made them cheery!
 Rats took off mouse costumes, even the cute little bow, the game was over before Christmas, time to play in the snow.  The rats smoked a pipe, held tight in their teeth; and the smoke, it encircled their heads like a wreath.  They exiled faust today, then each patted his belly, that shook when they laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.  I felt chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, and I smiled - the game's over - no help from myself.  A wink of the eye, and a twist of my head, soon gave me to know, I had nothing to dread.  I spoke not a word but went straight to work, typing the end of the game, then I turned with a jerk.  And laying my finger aside of my nose, and giving a nod, I grabbed for a rose.  EFHW and jotheonah were endgamed - time for a whistle.  infangthief and WestCoastDidds were rats like a thistle.  Back to Real Life, I exclaimed, as I vanished from sight - "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
