scola's claim would be risky for scum since a military player might have targeted him last night.

This definitely relates to what I'm saying. My claim is just too complex and with too many moving parts to be made up as scum. And I can prove it true "tonight". Normally, of course, I could still be scum and just be telling the truth, but with two other claimed radiation doctors, it seems more likely that one of the other two is actually lying.

I would like to point to exhibit A:

Sigh, I forgot in what game Dylan said this, but he said that scola wanted to do a bunch of weird plays as scum last game. Basically, it's in scola's wheelhouse to do this off-the-wall claim.

Then there's the fact that it's completely unverifiable. No one here has claimed to have picked you, right? Oh, but that's right, you can always say "it was LL/scum".

Add that to the complexity adding nothing to the game (why can you pick how many doses you get?) and you get a claim that does not match reality. Scola made this fake claim because he didn't know how LL/me cured radiation poisoning, so he made this great story to claim to survive the poisoning tonight. I don't know how scum actually cures themselves, but it's certainly not like this.

Given our win con - why is it so wrong to have multiple radiation docs?

Because his claim is convoluted and fake. I mean, the picking how many doses thing? That's a complete lie. If there's 10 doses available, why would you EVER only take 1? This is a cop-out, a way to claim to not die from poisoning tonight while also not actually using whatever power he or his scumteam have to heal town.

Also, it's basically impossible for it to belong in the same game as my ability.

No, he probably claimed this part because he has inside information about who targeted him. It's not really possible to know how much, but scum!scola wouldn't leave that to chance, I think.

If only Dylan were here to confirm this...

And one noticeable difference between mine and MiX's description is that I can cure more than 1 in a night (assuming I have enough doses). The first night, in fact I tried to retrieve 6 doses, but failed. So on N2, I was much more conservative, and only tried to get 1. (there are only 9 doses available, and needed to leave some out there still, in case I failed).

Wait.

Can you clarify this? Can you state exactly what you've known about how many doses there are each night?

vote: scola. The multiple doses thing really doesn't track. The part about conservatively choosing only one the second time makes no sense if the only reason he failed the first time was that someone targeted him. The doses would have to disappear if you fail for this to matter.

To confirm that scola wanted to make weird claims and plays in the first game.

Because Jack's not here either, and Dylan's the one that brought it up.

How does this not track with what I've said? I said there were a finite # of doses and not infinite. Otherwise sure i could always try to get them all. But failing meant those doses are lost. And if i didn't fail on N1, why wouldn't i have cured myself last night and avoid all this?

Again, why would i makeup something convoluted.

In S1, yes, i tried to come up with a fake claim  but if Jack does show up he will confirm that it was not complicated.

(It was something like i could target someone to change them from military to civilian, and i wanted to call court martial or military tribunal or something like that.)

There's just no way i would make something up like being targeted by military would block me. (if anything i would say being targeted by anyone?). Or maybe infinite doses. It's hard to know what exactly i might have chosen, since i didn't.

But what i do know if i world have known to make it simple and straightforward. With too many moving parts, it would be to eaay to get caught.

Also, it's not just Ll or scum who could have targeted me N1 but any already dead military. Adk was for sure as was ma to math dude, i think.

Mix is twisting himself up in s bunch trying to find something wrong with my claim for who knows what reason (how could scum or anyone else be cured from sickness other than, well, being cured? Has there ever been a poison game where there is an different way to cure?) Let's not forget he's been voting for me since the beginning of the day, well before my claim.

Why did you try to get 6 doses N1 if you would lose them if you failed.

On my last point, notice how much is already trying to find some story to make up for when i do cute myself tonight?

Instead of just accepting the most simple answer, that I'm telling the truth?

Also, notice how different mix has been since i started suspecting him? Before that, it was this "new" mix that is trying to be towny and not so definitive. But throw one suspicion their way, and old school, definitive "my opinion if fact, there's can be no way" mix is back?

Wait, I presume distributing the doses can't be military blocked like getting them.

Well whatever it's not like anyone has claimed to have been poisoned.

The situation has become too volatile, the fragile truce between humans and Cylons hangs in the balance. It is necessary now to remove those who would seek to undermine the established order. Luckily, it seems you have been able to locate one of their agents.

scolapasta has been sent to the brig! They were Samuel T. Anderson, and they were Resistance-aligned. They had the following powers:
Quote
  • protective
  • radiation, miscellaneous
  • manipulative
  • passive,miscellaneous

Night 3 begins now and lasts at least 48 hours. Night actions are due by July 18, 2021, 08:00:00 pm.

There is no executive order currently in effect.

The terrorists really know how to manipulate the defense mechanisms by now. You thought the centers of power were secure, but it seems that even here, you had an infiltration.

MiX has been incapacitated! They were Gaius Baltar, and they were Town-aligned! They had the following powers:
Quote
  • 1-shot, Day, miscellaneous
  • passive, protective
  • passive, miscellaneous
  • protective

The following cards have been removed from the executive order deck:
Civilian Juristdiction, Curfew, Insurrection, Isolate Colonial One, Military Police Force, Presidential Pardon, Prioritize, Vigil

This tragic loss requires a search for a new leader. Let the best candidates come forward!

Today, there will be a Presidential Election. In the first 24 hours of the Day, each player may post Enter the race. If they do, they become an eligible Presidential candidate. After that, each player has 48 hours to secretly cast a vote for their preferred candidate in their private QT. The player with the most votes wins, with ties being decided by who got more civilian votes.

Our government has become unable to fulfil its duties. The constant erosion of its power needs to be counteracted.

The following Night, each player that has been removed from the game may vote for a resolution that has been removed from the executive order deck, to put it back into the deck.

Day 4 begins! Thread unlocked!

Noone is the President of the Colonies.
WestCoastDidds is the Admiral of the Fleet.

Executive order deck: 0 in deck, 0 in discard, 1 drawn

Vote Count 4.0

Not Voting (7): Jack Rudd, WestCoastDidds, EFHW, Swowl, gkrieg13, Glooble, Cylons

With 6 alive, it takes 4 to exile. Day 4 ends July 26, 2021, 03:45:00 pm.

LaLight and Dylan are still gone. It seems unlikely that they would be able to make a nightkill while removed from the game, so it would seem we still have at least one scum onboard.

My top exile today is still Jack, for the same reasons I was pushing him yesterday.

I don't think I want to run for President, but I guess I would if people wanted me to.
