So, uh, ADK. Seems a bit late for RVS but I'm not seeing much of a case either. Anyone want to try and convince me to move my vote there?

I mean, it is D1 so any "case" is going to be pretty flimsy.  This is what got me voting ADK:

Two OMGUS's in a row? Maybe I'm onto something

ADK starts with a RVS on Jack.  Sure.
ADK then moves over to MiX for some reason, with a way-too-early scum team call of MiX-math.
Then just jokes about the two votes against them.

Just very chill, very nonchalant, easygoing....scum? I like having some pressure there.  Not a compelling case to be sure, but what is your "case" on Jack? Looks like it was just wagon hopping.  Why the hesitancy now to hop on a new one? Too far into D1? Are they your scum partner!??!?!?!?!?!?!

And you want them to tell us publicly before night starts, so you can see if there's any way to keep you and your scum buddies safe at night?

No. I was thinking about everyone claiming what they did with Vigil tomorrow, as it gives no new info to scum about their real powers.

Ok this actually makes some sense then.

You do understand that shading me like this whenever I talk isn't healthy, right?

Why wouldn't it be healthy? Am I going to go insane by engaging with you?

I think between your online times and your posting style, you are one of the easier ones for me to interact with. I'd like to do similar with ash and Swowl as well, as I think some things they say are things I'd want to get multiple back and forth posts about (in general, not necessarily specific to this game). But they both post mostly when I'm sleeping, and by the time I'm online the things I want to reply to have been addressed by others.

Based on online times, I could see myself engaging a lot with e soon, but this is my first game with them so I'm more observing at the moment.

Most other players, I'll respond to things as needed. But lucky you, MiX... I think you will be my day-1 go-to, for my first vote, my first person to bug, and the one I will try to get a read on first.

PPE: a few... I started this post a while ago.

You know me, I don't hop on wagons easily, not this early in the day. Jack's random partial claim was weird, and felt more like nervous scum than nervous town to me.

Or town who gets scared to say something that might be percieved scummy?

My thought on the executive order was that it doesn't affect me, because I swapped characters. I have no way of knowing which faction it helps most at the moment.

But you implied you were keeping an eye on it in general to protect town's interests. This is just about your own.

So, anyone want to both claim military and make an argument for being my successor?

Also, work has been nuts, sorry for the less than normal activity.  I should be back to normal next week.

MiX's vote is on ADK and everything MiX says in game is a fact. So that should be enough to move your vote there. Oh, and MiX is president and we follow our authority figures.

EFHW was military, I think, but not a viper. That was me, Swowl, lalight, and adk. We do not have a viper qt this game.

I don't know how, but I confused LL with EFHW. I guess the important role EFHW had in the first game was...registering as a cylon? Okay.

Basically disagreeing with the position that observing is a better way to learn about a player rather than engaging.

Which I get is most of the time personality driven rather than alignment driven. But that is also why scum lurk. Because the more they engage the more the possibility exists that something will slip up

My thought on the executive order was that it doesn't affect me, because I swapped characters. I have no way of knowing which faction it helps most at the moment.

Let me be more precise in my question: did you have any visibility on today's executive order options? Before the choice was made?

Back to vote: Jack

The claim was (1) too early and (2) legitimately scummy.

While the use of executive orders can be done in such a way that it benefits scum the most, it is absolutely one of the best ways for scum to claim towniness. "But look, I executed a townie executive order, I must be town" - says every scum!president ever. (Not accusing MiX of being scum here, just generalizing).

The claim about monitoring what the president does with the executive order deck just falls kind of flat to me when taking it all together.

But first, Jack. How does that power work?
