Ok, then. What does the quorum power do? And why did you decide to tell us now?? (Also, hi Jack! Glad you’re back!)

MiXy…don’t be sadz. I heart you.

You may find, from time to time, that I use terminology from the board game by accident, and that was one of them. By quorum I meant the president's executive orders.

I mentioned it now because I was already in the lead for votes on me, and didn't want to run the risk of being exiled without mentioning it.

Finally, they come upon a stone tablet, which contains but one mysterious phrase!

Vote: mathdude

That's an interesting vote

In fact, I don't like that vote after reading mathdude from R1. Why the vote?

He swapped characters and he's played 2 more games since then. I want to test my read on him.

Well MiX, I guess you got there first (and have since moved on), but I'll do it anyway...
Vote: MiX
Reason: siding with 3p instead of his own faction in round 1.

Vote: Jack

Suspicious of the fast claim with almost no real pressure. A few votes, yes. But it is early D1. Feels unnecessary and scummy

So we’re all just… claiming our powers day 1?

Cool. Cool.

I think Glooble has the same feelings as me coming in to this after the first game. I feel like it is likelier to happen genuinely as town.

Same is not true for e.

Vote: e

Meh, bravado is the name of the game for me.

I really don't have a firm grasp on the mechanics, the politics of G1, or such. I just figure the best way to learn is to dive head first.

Also, I'm still salty.

Is there a list of who did and did not keep their characters from Season 1?

I haven't seen one.  I think people would have to claim if they changed characters

Emphasis is mine:
Character arcs.
Each charcter has a unique character arc, which is a goal they want to achieve for additional points. To prevent players playing against their win condition in any given game, these will usually only be obtainable when the player won a game. Character arc success is usually checked at the end of the game. If successful, the character may become unplayable or get a new arc. Completing a character arc counts as a turning point.

Character persistence.
Every player may keep the character that they played from one game to the next, unless they have been eliminated from the game. Role and alignment will change from one game to the next, the character arc remains intact. Alternatively, they may choose another character, which will be chosen from the pool of available characters. A player may receive a character that has previously been played by someone else this way.

We know Robz' character was eliminated from the game, so we can know that either gkrieg or glooble have a brand new character.

The three of us new adds were (I assume, I didn't ask) randomly assigned to Robz, Awaclus, and Space - I was slotted to fill Awaclus' spot (big shoes to fill, I thought Awaclus played incredibly well S1). At least, I am Billy Keikeya.

Ok, my memory is refreshed. I just asked faust in my qt if I am still a Cylon, but come to think of it, that was never a certain thing. Lalight's power and the testing machine agreed that I was, but I was human aligned. That's the part I want to emphasize. Do we still have the test?

Hmm...

Undergo testing

But I would be incredibly surprised if you weren't a cylon, assuming you kept the character.

Is there a reason we are assuming players are keeping their human/clyon status from game to game?

I love RVSing people I think I can solve D1. I think math's one of those people.

Why not? EFHW registering as a cylon the other game was completely anti-town and almost irrelevant, so unless scum had a framer, I would say that they were a cylon. And given how useless the cylon tester was, I would be very surprised if it wasn't a legacy thing. Why wouldn't they keep their human/cylon status? They're the same character, after all.

I have a funny feeling Jack and e are on opposite alignments. If I had to guess, I'd say e's the scum one.

People should definitely claim if they swapped characters. Of course I didn't, since I'm the president.

I hadn't even considered that, but yeah. Win-con does encourage no exile.

I still like voting for people just so we have more information, but I think that we should be careful prior to an exile

Given the wincon, there must be an nk, or it would be too easy to accomplish. Radiation seems to kill slowly, if at all. It could just weaken or cancel powers.

Radiation kills...oh! I guess we don't know this for sure. But I would be very surprised if it didn't. I'm positive scum has a normal NK though, or at least they aren't just poisoning everyone.
