I still think faust is scummy, but EFHWs last post is the latest that creates the appearance of engagement without actually advancing a case. More proof, her case in me.

However, the Space part of easier for me. I think you are finding one another scummy. I don’t really think that is manufactured (although I’m easily fooled) so my sense is that one of you is probably scum. Of those two, I think it’s you.

I don't understand. You think the scumreads aren't manufactured, but if one of us were scum, then by definition their scumread on the other would be manufactured. So I'm completely at a loss to understand what you mean here. One of us is town, and we're infallible, therefore the other must be scum? That is not a particularly good argument there.

Also, I'm not really scumreading Space anymore.

Apologies... I missed this earlier. I was saying that I don’t think you’re scumreads were both manufactured, as in the fake fights that we’ve seen (or at least suspected) from other folks in other games. So, I think one of you is probably actually scum and trying to paint the other that way, and one of you is town and making a real case.

It is, for sure, not a very good argument and I am not trying to convince anyone with it. Rather it is helping me distinguish between pairs. Based on this, I don’t think that you and space are working together so thinking though it helped me set you both on my scum/chum continuum.

The fact that you are no longer scumreading Space seems more opportunistic than not since they are on most folks town list.

As for the gkrieg comment, space articulated it to a large extent in her long post. From my perspective you went from “we should look off wagon., there’s scum there for sure!”, to being instrumental in the gkrieg exile, to fizzling out on that argument entirely when gkrieg flipped town without any real explanation or introspection. If you’re scum, then you accomplished your objective, diverted suspicion and got a town exile off.

You’re right that it has been a tunnel, but it isn’t based on low activity. I’ve been low myself. Rather it’s on the type of activity. I don’t see you do any of the things you normally do to scum hunt, like analyze folks in relation to one another or ask questions that move us forward. This was the point that gkrieg also made, just before he got exiled.

Oh it was a joke (admittedly cryptic). ashersky said that he posted "I'm starting to get suspicious of Dylan" because Dylan was not voting, but ashersky isn't voting either, so I posted the thing back at him.

faust is just reading very town to me, as is Space. I find you and Didds hard to read. I would appreciate more activity from Dylan, but when he does post it's good stuff and not especially pinging me.

Idk, I'm starting to feel like we have "sit back and let the town destroy itself" scum, so my tendency is to see who's been sitting back the hardest. That's part of why I figure there's probably 1 scum in {EFHW, Didds, Dylan}.

Anyway, that's why I've sort of settled into this tunnel on ash. I have scumread him for various things throughout the game and he's playing in a way that doesn't feel consistent with his town meta as I remember it (whereas faust's play does feel consistent to me).

If I were to move to another wagon at this point it would probably be Didds, not because I'm scumreading her but because I never scumread her, which makes me think she's more likely to be scum in a game where I'm not finding anyone else super-scummy.

I wish Dylan would put a vote down or express some reads; would really help us sort out what's feasible today.

I'd love to do some serious re-reading but I doubt I'll have time before deadline.

I already posted all my reads in an earlier post, just not in a condensed for like everyone else. I just went to type out the short version of it from memory and realized that since then I had moved EFHW from the scummier bucket to meh, and faust was the only person in the scum bucket today. Space and joth are town, everyone else is varying shades of meh that I would probably vote for in order to get an exile through, in the order EFHW, Ash, Didds from most to less desire to exile.
