That there might only have been 3 scum originally, or they might have split 3-1 one way or the other (although presumably not 3-1 with the 1 on joth's timeline, which would presumably have triggered a turning point of some sort; I think we have to assume that there is still at least one scum on each timeline).

(Joth's position was "there must be a 2-2 scum split" and Ash's was "there's likely a 2-2 scum split, but we don't know".)

OK, so I don't want to send us down the rabbit hole again, so I won't chase this discussion down much, but joth never said there must be - his was always (and now that we know he was scum, probably carefully crafted as) "there's likely a 2-2 scum split, so let's assume that for now". Ash is the one who claimed that joth said it as a definite statement, and that got me (and gloobie) to argue with ash.

For those who think gloobie and I are scum, why would we do that? Even Dylan who's trying to infer things from a previous scum game of mine, should realize that at no point did I ever suggest "crazy claims" that would put so many "partners" at risk.

No particular read, although I have slightly less of a human read on Dylan than the others. Not got much confidence in that, though.

Oof….so, deadline is tomorrow.

EFHW, can you tell me more about why not Jack? Or why Dylan over Jack?

Scola, fill me on what you are thinking beyond voting for me.

Jack, what do you find scummy about Dylan?

I’m going back and forth on Scola. I don’t think the tunnel is scummy, and I don’t know that scum Scola would put all his eggs into targeting me without having read the Joth exile more carefully. Jack(Galz) is a cipher. I have no idea. But with so few options, that is significant because there is nothing to make him town. Dylan is more interesting. As I’ve said before, I don’t think scum had any reason to bus. It would have been too easy to just no exile. And there was no pressure to build that wagon when Dylan did it.

I think right now I am leaning toward voting for Jack, but I’m really looking for some insight from the folks not voting.

Ok, so, I haven't contributed much so far today so I decided to a vca. Turns out there are only 15 votes to analyze. I might go back and look at italicized votes from Days 1 and 3, but this is just regular votes. I might as well type it up here so everyone can have the information. I left out all of scola's test votes.

412 Didds v. Dylan
434 joth v. ash
447 scola v. ash
449 Didds v. joth
486 EFHW v. joth
508 Dylan v. Didds
523 ash v. joth
617 scola v. Didds
660 joth v. Galz/Jack
661 Didds v. Galz/Jack
676 Dylan v. joth  E-1
681 joth v. Didds
700 joth v. scola
701 Didds v. joth  Hammer

1189 Dylan v. scola

My conclusion:

vote: Jack

My reasoning:

1. joth voted ash early on, repeating a dynamic from the previous game. Then joth votes Galz after he is starting to get into trouble. I think he is asking his partner to show up.

2. When Dylan v. joth at 676, he could easily have defended a vote for Galz instead, so bussing seems unlikely.

3. Didds and I were on joth from early on, so we are obv!town  :)

4. joth's Didds and scola votes at 681 and 700 look like clutching at straws.

5. I believe the masons claim.

An important thought for the Reverse Timeline:

If there is a godfather in that group, like there was in ours, I suspect they would NOT have counted as non-town in the answer to mathdude's question.

I doubt there's 2 godfathers...but I wouldn't put past swowl for a third-party to have godfather.

Scola, fill me on what you are thinking beyond voting for me.

I honestly don't know. The problem is my two biggest scum reads on posts were you and Dylan, but you (and others) are right that it doesn't really make sense for you and he to have voted for Exile and X-1 on joth when each of you did. (maybe Dylan @ x-1 if he was hoping no one would hammer or someone would switch). So I've convinced myself that you are probably town now, and Dylan also.

Which leaves EFHW and Jack.  EFHW being an early vote on joth could have been bussing and then gotten stuck there? But still feels like jack is a better exile for the day (which would be slightly unfortunate since he technically just joined).

Yeah, I would like to think so, because I really doubt Jack and scola (and thus Glooble) are both (all) scum, so if Jack flips scum I will admit I was probably wrong and choose to believe the mason claim. However, if Jack is town, the only thing that makes sense to me was the fake mason claim out of desperation, and you all might as well be ready for another forward timeline 1v1 next time around lol.
