My attempt at explaining the rules:

There are up to 8 rounds in the game. In each round, both teams do the following:

- One player from the team generates a random code with three different numbers from 1 to 4, and makes a clue to clue those three numbers
- The other team guesses the three number code (except in round 1)
- The same team's other members, besides the cluegiver, guess the three number code.
- Reveal the code and see who was right.

It is bad for your team if the other team guesses your code correctly, or if your team fails to guess their own code correctly. If the other team guesses your code correctly, they take an interception token. Also, if your team fails to guess its own code, then you take a miscommunication token.

At the end of the round: if your opponents have two interception tokens, you lose. If you have two miscommunication tokens, you lose. If both teams would lose at the same time, then there are some tiebreaking rules instead. Also, if at the end of 8 rounds, neither team has lost, there are some tiebreaking rules.

And for those who are new, once you've decided on guesses in the QT, the protocol is to first post your guess of the other team, with spoiler tags.

Then once the other team has posted their guess of yours, you can post your teams guess of your own. It then gets confirmed or denied (or in same post, if poster was clue giver).

Your guess is incorrect. The code was 1-3-4, which my team guessed correctly.
