I've been thinking about joining, but I want to give others a chance to. I got impatient and joined Mini Mafia #1, but that left joth without anyone to play with. I'll join tomorrow if no one has.

Your idea is not a bad one, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it. It wouldn't be the same as a 'pre-game' because people can still drop out etc. Also if there happens to be enough players to start more than one game, they'll be sorted by rating. So you won't always be sure exactly who will be in the game with you. There could be a thread for each setup devoted to players who are currently signed up, but I think it's just as easy for someone to create a thread in the Games section of the forum.

Custom games for sure will have a pre-game thread for people signed up, thinking about signing up etc. Maybe I'll do something for Rated games when I'm working on that.

Not currently, just the in-site notification. I'll look at providing that option at some point.
