this and the fact he pushed faust to claim protective roles. And the fact after the vote that his lasts posts are lackluster from what I see.
This is a ridiculous misrepresentation of how the interaction went down and I will prove it by simply showing what actually happened.
Right out the gate faust says there is a nonzero amount of discussion to be had about items. That statement upsets me as it is an unnecessary comment to make and I say he should instead either offer discussion about items or start discussion elsewhere not simply say maybe there is discussion to be had.
Then faust posts this:
Well okay. I have an item that I cannot use, but someone else is presumably able to use it. Figuring out who would require some sort of flavor reveal. Unfortunately I have no idea about the flavor and don't know how problematic this would be.
Note that I said the original comment was unnecessary and Faust chose to come forward with information about his item to start discussion which I think is fine and much more productive than his original comment, but it is important to see here I did not say you should talk about items it was completely voluntary from faust.
That info leads me to say this:
My guess based on flavor is that someone is samurai jack (main character) and the good aligned players have items that can help power up samurai jack to defeat the evil aku/his evil followers. SO while it would be great for the important "I can use things" player to step forward then scum knows to kill him.
Meaning I think it is likely one towny is important to funnel items to which would mean we need to know who that is, but unless there is protection for him it is risky to come forward.
I then specify:
If someone think they have a way to protect items or protect people that would be a helpful claim. otherwise I'm not too sure "coordinating" is going to be good based on scum ability to pick off users.
Just trying to throw the idea out there that the only way I think samurai Jack should say hey it;s me give me the items is if he knew he could be protected and that maybe a protector would want to give him that opportunity.
Faust and I then follow up with:

I don't know man, outing protective roles sound pretty terrible to me.
I guess that is true but for later days I think an outed protector would be useful to give a then outed jack a night of coordinated stuff.

So I clearly agree right now is probably not the best time for a protector to claim but hey its something to keep in mind for when we are claiming, protector followed by samurai jack followed by item givers is a strong/safe claim chain. At which time faust decides that now is an okay enough time to claim. In no way did I "pushing faust to claim". So that narrative is completely bogus
