Chase's non randomized sets of 10

I like to make non randomized sets of 10 to play. I've made two that are absolutely brilliant.
Black market (put every kingdom card in the pile instead of 60.) bane: coin of the realm menagerie tunnel university silk road crown jester tactician fairground prince                 p&c    shltr                    use only one knight one castle and one of each split pile
You start with all the heirlooms and the shelters so menagerie is crazy powerful especially if you set it aside with prince
Combos:bm/men bm/tac bm/fair men/fair tun/tac

The other one is: ghost town menagerie bridge nomad camp silk road bazaar laboratory noble kings court city quarter

You start with all the heirlooms and the shelters so menagerie is crazy powerful
So you open Menagerie/Menagerie because they are double-Labs with 100% probability after the first shuffle. Where's the strategic subtlety, where is the difficulty about evaluating the Kingdom?
Changing game parameters such that one card is overpowered isn't what I would call an interesting Kingdom.

There are many threads for designed kingdoms. For instance here: http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=18200.msg753955#msg753955. Please avoid creating new threads if possible to contribute to an already existing one instead.

But later in the game cursed gold and lucky coin make it more difficult

If you misplay them, yes. Otherwise, no.

shltr

Is it that much faster to type that instead of "shelters"? The formatting of your first kingdom is very difficult to read; you have to comb through it to actually find the list of cards. Using unnecessary abbreviations makes it harder.

If the first one is using a Bane shouldn't it be a set of 11??

Chase, may I suggest the f.ds extension for chrome and firefox? I makes the kingdoms a lot easier to read.

Also, I like your kingdoms, I wish more people played non-randomized sets of 10. We have some threads with thematic kingdoms, kingdom design contests, etc.

Chase, may I recommend that you put commas between the names of cards? That alone will make your lists much easier to parse.

It's already maximally easy to parse, he's just including some obscure fan cards that he has printed out and likes to include in his games, like "of", "bane:", "shltr", "Combos:bm/men bm/tac bm/fair men/fair tun/tac" and "kings".

I recommend that you not print out "kings", it has all those kingmaking aspects us DXV fanboys dread.

I just barely made my favorite game
I named it lots of draw
Fishing village, smithy, bandit camp, den of sin, festival, wharf, fairground, hunting ground, bank, royal blacksmith
Donate, obelisk

That is my non interactive version. I made another version that is very interactive but still has the main theme of draw
Smithy, bandit camp, den of sin, festival, knights, rabble, wharf, fairground, hunting ground, royal blacksmith

Donate, pathfinding, ferry, inheritance, orchard, obelisk, tower

I would love to hear which version you think is better

Also where is the contest that McGarnacle was talking about

People don't really care about kingdom design here, at least not as much as they used to.

Here's a fun set I just had:

City Quarter, Overlord, Guardian, Bishop, Rats, Treasury, Governor, Hunting Party, Cartographer, Catacombs. Landmark: Triumphal Arch.

You could probably improve on this by replacing the three cards that were never used (Guardian, Cartographer, Catacombs).

Alchemist probably wouldn't see much action on that board; the tempo spent on the Potion is going to hurt you.

Altar... eh, maybe. Hitting 5 is important, but Altar probably isn't the best way to go about it.

Haunted Woods - probably irrelevant. You can get the draw other ways, and it's unlikely people will leave much in their hands in their Buy phase.
