I'm also highly suspicious of EFHW's little wobble:

I have to go any minute now. vote: Jake to be safe.

no, sorry, vote: gkrieg. I've lost my interest in voting Jake and I know I don't read gkrieg well, but I don't feel good about his posts today.

She did go back to Gkrieg, but the deliberation feels a bit fabricated to me.

What's my scum!motivation here?

Could just be to try to appear townie, or at least make people question why you would do it as scum. (I tend to do this latter thing.) Or maybe you just realized it's ultimately better off bussing Gkrieg.
It would have been much better for scum!me to stay on Jake. Not worth whatever towncred I could get for gkrieg. And scum!me might not have known who gkrieg was. A better theory would be that Jake was my partner and I thought I was voting town with gkrieg, but while that is a clever thought, it is not what happened.

Really I was in a rush and voted Jake just to avoid no lynch, but then I realized I didn't want to vote Jake and I did want to vote gkrieg, and there were enough people around willing to vote either that I thought a lynch would go through. No one was expecting the non-counting vote.

Jake is looking a bit worse now, since Awaclus didn't come back to vote him and was scum.

awaclus being around yet refusing to hammer... then awaclus flips scum. Protecting his partner?

We also need people to vote and figure out what was going on with the end of day vote count. Someone wasn't counting or some other shenanigans were happening.

Should we all vote someone and get a vote count? We can just have everyone vote for the next (not dead) person on the signup list.

I think the weird vote count yesterday was due to faust incorrectly skipping my vote in the count. He said he did in my QT, but when I tried to ask whether than means there's no still-unexplained evidence for vote weirdness, he declined to answer. Someone could just try asking in thread.. 'fraid I'm really busy today and need to go now :-P

Ok, crazy theory: scum decided since there were so many of them to give strong town reads on each other. All of my top scum reads are town reading each other. This makes for more believable claims and also helps them not get lynched. Since there are so many scum, it's way less dangerous for them.

The only other possible theory is that scum somehow managed to split up town and place since of their own on each side. This is plausible but I think the first option is now likely.
Not so crazy theory: J Reggie is scum

Vote Count 4.1

EFHW (2): Dylan32, Witherweaver
Haddock (1): EFHW

Not Voting (5): SpaceAnemone, 2.71828....., JaketheBaseballGod22, iguanaiguana, silverspawn

I don't understand your table I'm afraid.
I agree with your conclusion, except that

For others to see this - if they believe my analysis in post #1029, anyway - you can see that #1029 together with last night's results implies the existence of 2 yellows and 2 whites last night (the scum).

My guess was
Haddock: RED
e: RED
silver: RED
EFHW: RED
Galz: YELLOW
gkrieg: RED
Awaclus: RED
Swan: RED
Dylan: RED
chairs: RED
WW: BLUE
Iguana: BLUE
Jake: BLUE

and the response was 7 correct and 3 correct but wrong place.

To get 7 correct with 2 yellows and 2 whites, I must have guessed RED correctly 7 times, since my YELLOW guess of Galz was not right (there are reasons I went for that, btw - but they're not important now).

So everyone still alive, except WW, iguana and Jake, is town.  But then whatever arrangement of RED/YELLOW/YELLOW we give to those three, we end up with either 6 or 8 fully correct guesses in my N2 guess:

EFHW: YELLOW
ash: RED               1  fully correct
Haddock: RED        2  fully correct
Awaclus: RED
gkrieg: RED
chairs: RED           3  fully correct
e: RED                  4  fully correct
DatSwan: YELLOW
silver: RED            5  fully correct
Galz: RED              6  fully correct
Dylan: BLUE
Iguana: RED     (If iguana is red, then this is 7, but then WW is yellow, so 8 correct overall)
WW: YELLOW    (If WW is red, then iguana and Jake are yellow, so 6 correct overall)
Jake: RED         (If Jake is red, then this is 7, but then WW is yellow, so 8 correct overall)

So either my analysis in #1029 is wrong (I'll double check it at some point) or I've definitely been messed with at some point.

Vote: WW

This is a sick experiment.
I'm not totally sold on it for what it's worth.
My current theory is that it was a scum on the Jake wagon, having the ability to make their own vote not count - both to sow general confusion and to rescue gkrieg and Jake simultaneously (if Jake is scum, that is, obviously).

In which case this experiment will do nothing.
But yeah it's definitely worth a try.

I'm assuming order of votes is irrelevant - all we want is everyone voting for someone and everyone eventually having one vote.

Yeah, order doesn't matter. Doesn't matter that we all have one exactly, but this way it avoids an accidental wagon and avoids any decisions.

It may not yield information, but there's no downside to it.

I guess we should also check that this was the only time a vote on Jake didn't count. Also, if it is related somehow to his role, he should just claim that.

2 yellow 2 white does work for all three nights according to the wrong color numbers (I didn't check the other numbers). But it doesn't work for the flips. We've already had 3 people flip red, so there has to be a color with more than 2.  It's too bad this can't be more useful. Have you asked faust to doublecheck the results he gave you?
