Not sure if it was obvious I was a traitor so targeting gkrieg night one was a pretty terrible opening. I am surprised no one really connected the lack of NK to him being frozen. It became painfully obvious when he targeted mcmc and got pulled into the portal and left no NK. I would have to say we played around that really well despite inevitably losing.

I was too dumb to realize my freeze actually killed if left unthawed. I actually believed my own claim (minus the cop) until chairs claimed. Chairs actually saved scum D2 so consider that in his MVP bid.

And man, it worked out just right for us that pps or gkrieg couldn't move Lisa snart's vote when the whole portal thing happened or I would have been lynched. I think we still would have won as town, but it would have been a D6 lynch instead of a N5 kill

Ya it was a lot of things that didn't go right for us. The portal thing with PPS not being able to control Lisa really was unfortunate because lynching e would've made it much harder to lynch me. CJ also could've avoided his lynch by leaving Lisa on Jake or e.

I second the notion that a lot of night actions went badly for scum.  A few:

--PPS freezing his scum partner on N1, which led to no NK on N2.
--the mcmc portal timing.
--gkrieg basically never getting to use his Mentor power.

Velocity was envisioned to be 1-Shot, but I messed up there and it was full.  Although I'd say full was better here, given town's relative strengths, but being able to use it to nullify the cop forever was sort of so-so.  LaLight copped two out of three scum, though POE really helped him.

The side effect of Barry's resurrection power was hidden, although there's a hint buried in the mod info I've provided.  I might still use it, I guess.

In case anyone was wondering, I cut one town role and one modified SK from the original setup to make it work for 13 players.

I knew Ash had a 3rd party in mind....it just didn't actually show up in the game.

Although I wish I had been able to take all of my "PPS is third party scum" and get to "PPS is traitor scum" but I never made that connection

Question to LaLight/galz/chairs/CJ

Are you voting rr as the best not-you lynch or the best viable lynch or just a run of the mill bleh D1 lynch?

Best current. Want PPS > Cheesy (close) > everybody else > me > Faust

I missed Gkrieg D1, but not bad.

Awesome! :) Glad town won.

Also, totally thought you were scum LaLight after seeing gkrieg flip as a non-West bad dude, but having your actions being redirected each time makes sense.

Great game ash!

Because you wouldn't tell me why you needed to know. Think of it from my perspective I know I am vibe and I am the reason we got moved. I have no idea how we get back but if my gut was a lynch would take us back. Then you claimed to be able to take us back and my thought was why would my power give someone else a new power to take us back and require me to share the private info I was given. Also flavor wise I thought okay maybe mafia can close the portal preventing us from ever getting back if they learn what earth we are on. I was also slightly annoyed at not being townread more after forcing the cj lynch through and I was super frustrated at people half claiming, so when you wouldn't explain I was fine getting vanilasized.

Basically I thought if I was you and town I would immediately have been going "hey I don't know why but I was just informed that because I am a speedster I can bring us all back to the main earth if I know what earth we are on. I would immediately have told you then.

Yeah, my lynch was totally avoidable. I fudged that hard, and things went downhill for scum from there. Sorry team! Though I'm very glad that my dying action was essentially to take schadd with me by redirecting LaLight.

2.7 is the MVP.

His use of his votes was spot on, and surviving as a double voter AND in the face of a strong scumread from the IC basically the entire game was critical and impressive.

I mean, really, if there's a chance the Double Voter is scum, you gotta take them out.

If you haven't posted your QT yet, please do, so folks can see the roles.

Looking back at the speccy, it appears that we killed the wrong people.

I think I would've been able to make it to D6 if I hadn't killed mcmcsalot, or if e had been pulled into the vortex instead of Archetype.  It would've also neutralized his double voting.

I actually think scum played an ok game, but we really got incredibly unlucky with night actions.  CJ could've made his lynch go to a coin toss (which would've opened a whole new can of worms), PPS could've frozen someone else other than me, and really anyone other than Archetype could've been forced into the vortex with me, and there would've been wildly different results.

Overall fun game, though town would've had a very hard time I think if none of that had happened.  4 scum they have to lynch, where they only get 1 vig shot means they only get two mislynches.  And being able to redirect LaLight certainly helped us a lot.
