This is the type of post scum makes to make you think they have a town mindset. Like a pseudo-faked-townslip.

This kind of thing happens BTW. Here is Awaclus doing it in less mafia:

He was mafia pretending to be town just realizing that the basic premise of the game is true. It worked; he convinced Gkrieg and won.

So yeah I would say that recent history proves it's um at least slightly scummy when someone says "I just realized" something that a person of any alignment should be able to figure out pretty easily.

Also, three factions obviously means that scum is scum hunting. Especially wolves who have absolutely no reason to want mafia alive.

yeah, I probably won't really be able to get into this until Thursday or so.  4th of July weekend, tomorrow will be crazy at work because 3 day work week.

I 100% disagree with that characterization of Jake's meta.

Jake is an active player, a bit vengeful toward people who vote him, regardless of town or scum.

Apart from Jake just being Jake (which always seems to attract votes), what has he actually done that's scummy?

He's voting for me even though I never ever voted for him. Pretty well outside his town meta if you ask me.

YOu seem to think that's just his meta, but there's disagreement on that and scummy metas are scummy for a reason. Reminds me of mail-mi in GoT, a pointlessly old reference, sorry about that, but the point is that players with scummy metas rely on them more heavily when they're scum, and try to change things up when they're town (unless they're Awaclus), and this seems to be the former, to me.

It is pretty great, and an excellent demonstration of why both reasonings ("they're an easy mislynch/they're good as town") are rather flawed.

It also does not resemble the scum!iguana I played with in any shape or form. Time has passed, but still.

In seriousness, I have seen a couple townie things from Jake after his first vote. He is reminding me a lot of his play in Gravity Falls mafia where he was town and I suspected him of being scum all game.

So yeah, if he's conforming to anything, it's the meta of his last couple of games where he was town. 95% sure I'm giving him a D1 pass.
