If you read our QT, I strongly urged EFHW to counterclaim E if it came to that. I couldn't do it, there's no way anyone would believe I vigged Eevee on Night 1.

Claiming would have definitely complicated matters, because it would have put a lot of sudden, unwanted attention of EFHW, regardless of how things went down.

I think I would have urged the vig to claim. After the counterclaim we could have no-lynched to force scum to kill. Scum cannot kill the vig because the vig targets the counterclaimant every single night and is forced to kill someone out of the other group. Town then lynches among the non-vigs and we have a 1/3 chance of hitting the JK to win the game.

My first town game was my very first game, so I was being really careful and thoughtful because I wanted to make sure I looked like town so I didn't get mislynched. Guess what happened! I drew the N1 kill for I guess looking too towny. Now that I'm comfortable, this is pretty much going to be how I play with a little bit of normal variation. I have several other town games on record now, so use those rather than that first one.
